Shoreline Media is seeking a managing editor for the Ludington Daily News. The Ludington Daily News is an award winning daily newspaper sitting on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan in Ludington. Duties include (but are not limited to) planning and facilitating a daily budget for news, special features and promotional coverage; making assignments and scheduling for staff reporters; covering self-assigned venues; reviewing and editing all copy according to publisher’s style and policies; effectively coordinating and managing all copy to ensure paper is consistently meeting press deadlines. Previous experience in newspaper editing is preferred, but consideration will be given for a journalist with 7+ years of experience in newspaper reporting.
