The Michigan Press Association hosted its Better Newspaper Contest Awards Ceremony at the 2026 MPA Convention in East Lansing, held April 23-24 at the Kellogg Center. The event celebrated excellence in Michigan journalism, photojournalism, design, and advertising, presenting awards across editorial and advertising categories, including special honors such as “Journalist of the Year.” Attendees had the opportunity to network with journalists, editors, designers, publishers, and industry partners, reflecting on achievements and fostering professional connections.
