Double major in political science with a concentration in public administration and American politics, communication and minoring in journalism.

I’ve used this position as a way to gain experience with InDesign, Premiere and learning successful marketing strategies. I’ve taken most of the skills from this job and applied them to our school paper.

I write Ann Arbor City Council twice a week for this publication.

I write on higher education, politics, crime and breaking news.

I also meet regularly with editors to improve their reporting, writing and social media presence.

I wrote on student government and Ypsilanti City Council. My main focus was recruitment and retention, but responsibilities varied day to day.
