Experience
Joined as editor to direct the day-to-day operations of a twice-weekly newspapers. Duties include managing staff of six reporters/paginators, as well as manage print/digital content. Maintain the company’s website, social media and other digital endeavors.
Increased print and digital subscriptions amid tough economic pressures.
Grew online page views on www.wmicentral.com from 3.9 million in 206 to 5.4 million in 2017. (36.6 percent). New visitors rose from 33.8 percent in 2016 to 38.6 percent in 2017 (14.2 percent).

Achieved a record 655,000 page views in July 2017 via consistent social media and electronic newsletter campaign.
Coached and led six reporters at three daily newspapers in southeastern Ohio and northwestern West Virginia. Emphasized locally produced and varied news content while developing local connections with regional, statewide and national news.
Generated content for numerous special publications that each produced between $10,000 to $15,000 in revenue.
Partnered with local chamber of commerce to develop and distribute an annual tourism guide, with revenue of $35,000.
Increased print readership at each respective property by focusing on hyper-local news, features, enterprise and investigative reporting.
Oversaw daily and weekend operations at six-day daily print and digital media outlet with seven reporters. Worked with U.S. Air Force personnel and leaders to develop weekly newspaper and digital presence featuring military news from Holloman Air Force Base.
